Paul Hughes (B. 1966 Dublin, Ireland) Paul was born and raised in Dublin. He works out of his studio, an old pig barn on Frascati Park in Dublin.

Paul has been working for the last 12 months on two specific creative projects in tandem. Both very different. The first project is a study of light above and below horizons, with specific emphasis on the coast of South Dublin towards to sea. This project has attempted to capture moments in time of light at certain times of day and night.

The DDDA (Dublin Development Docklands Authority) invited Paul to hold an exhibition of his work to date on this project in the CHQ building, in the IFSC (Financial Services District) in January 2009. This exhibition called ‘Do You Ever Get There’, was a great success both critically and commercially.
